Hi! I am Ben Simo. Welcome to my little corner of the World Wide Web. I'm a defensive pessimist making a living as a software tester. As a believer in both sapient testing by critical thinkers and the power of automation, I seek to balance the use of people and machines to provide decision makers with useful information. I am currently working as a performance tester and test automation developer. I am also the current president of the Association for Software Testing

I live in Colorado Springs with my wife Sophie, two children, four cats, one English Shepherd dog, and 16 goldfish. When I'm not testing, I enjoy photography and exploring the countryside with my family.
